" title="If the rebbe makes a recording, one pasuk at a time with a pause in between, the kids who have a harder time reading will have a "self-checking" way to practice kriyah. My husband did this for his 5th graders and they loved using the tapes to practice. He also inserted short messages in between to motivate them.

2. Dear Principals,

All of the archived posts that were previously emailed through Rabbi Meisel's Principal's Email List have been entered onto this forum and are available for you to reference or reopen a discussion.

There are hundreds of topics pertaining to principals, and are sure to contain information that is helpful to you.  If you are only participating in the Forum via email, we urge you to go to Chinuch.org Forums, and browse the Principal Forums for valuable advice, questions and referrals.

Best,
Donna Zeffren
Director, Chinuch.org
3. We have some great games for melave malkas - we used to do Win, Lose or Draw and we have Taboo (Jewish version) here on Chinuch.org, as well as other games. There is also "Paper Bag Dramatics" where you put unrelated items in bags, give them to each group, and they have to act out a play on the assigned topic using the objects as props.  I can explain in more detail if you are interested.

There is also a non-Jewish book called "New Games" which is about non-competitive teamwork games that can be played with ordinary objects - like passing a ball using only your knees, etc.
4. I have written a couple scripts that I shared on Chinuch.org.  Anyone who has a script that they are not charging for should please share it here -- i know many schools and camps have benefitted.

Yavne is welcome to include these in their catalog - just write that they are free and tell them where to get them.

It's a great idea - thanks!
