2010 Convention: Bringing Tefilla To Life - Mrs. Paula Weber

In order for our children to lean to daven with proper kavanah, we have to give them the tools and the clues necessary for them to connect to the tefillos. Since Tefilla is in the realm of the "ideal" and until the age of 12, children do not really deal in this realm; we must help to concretize the tefillos for them. We can give them the "mafteychos" they keys, to tefilla in so many ways. We can help to bring each tefilla to life. In this "hands-on" workshop, we will go through many of our teffilot and we will see how beautiful and easy it is to bring them to life for our Talmidim as well as for all of Klal Yisroel. You will be shown various approaches to tefilla, and to specific tefilos which will help you give meaning to them for our children. You will b'ezras Hashem be able to "Bring Tefilla to Life."
