Here are some song ideas:

1.
I'm so excited I'm so lucky come and see,

I'm learning something special as can be,

Oh, Aleph Beis, is such a treat, the osios are so so sweet,

Aleph Beis we learned each day

Now it's its time for us to say Hooray!

(Not sure of the name of the tune, it's an old Carlebach niggen thats commonly used as song about moshiach which I don't know the words to - hope you can figure it out from that)

2."Ashreinu mah tov chelkeinu"

3. "mommy tatty you will see, someday I'll grow up to be, the biggest tzaddik or the biggest tzadekes, you'll be proud of me"! (song adapted from 'childrens favorite tunes vol.1)

4.

Many years ago, there was a shepherd boy,
he watched the sheep all day,
Akiva didn't even know the Aleph Beis,
which we all can say (x2)
Rachel his smart wife gave him good advice, this is what she said,
'it's never too late to learn the Torah is you use your head" (x2)        (tune: Oifen Pripechuck -Old Yiddish song)

5.

We learned the whole Aleph Beis,

We are all so proud,

We will not sing it softly, we'll only sing it loud

Everyone both big and small would not know very much at all without learning the Aleph Beis (not sure about the name of the tune)

I am also looking for ideas for the siyum - maybe some kind of activity?  Any ideas would be great!

File folders are fun. You can create a file folder game by having the letters laminated down and then having a seperate set laminated have the children velcro the same letter on top of its counterpart.
