I am pleased to share with this forum that my workshop "Laying the Foundation for Independent Chumash Learning" is now posted in the chinuch.org archives.  This 78 minute presentation contains a powerpoint presentation along with the accompanying audio.  The workshop describes how  my school's second grade learned 200 more passukim than usual while building an extensive Chumash vocabulary.  The program also enhanced their comprehension.  A veteran mechanchim who attended the workshop  commented that it is the missing link in Chumash instruction.  The ideas that are presented can be adapted to most elementary grades.  Please take the time to watch the presentation and share it with your colleagues.  Please contact me with your comments and questions about the presentation.
