Most children in this age are egocentric, meaning they don't know other people exist other then them. With little explanation, not downgrading the child you can show him how it hurts when you take away someones  belongings.

nothing wrong in a girls class to wear a Kipa or hat, perhaps you can put on little paielech with pipe cleaners.... In the boys class use only the father, versus the mother is busy in the kitchen.

When doing kiruv whatever you do needs to be done with devotion and love. Getting kids to make them to start doing a mitzvah is one thing. Getting kids to look forward and feel honored joyfully to do mitzvohs is a total different approach. Associate the mitzvah only with positive incentives and introduce it in very special way. Every second he wears the tzitzis or whatever mitzvas he gets schar. Its a good idea to elaborate on that on the childs level of understanding. A nice example of enforcing it positively is if you can get a tzitzis w pictures on it and a kapl with his name and a picture and keep it in cheder and the first thing in the morning very excitedly you can put it on for him and give a little nosh or prize. To instill ahavas hatorah and mitzvos is the utmost importance. If he finds it too pressuring you can start only with 1 hour a day.

Thank you for give me a zechus for trying to assist you with such a beautiful mitzvah. I hope it will be of help.

Does anyone have an opinion about using Chumashim with Rashi menukad in fourth grade and up. Also what do you think of using Gemarah menukad in Haschals Gemarah.

Hi, everyone! i am struggling with an issue, and i was wondering if you super-experienced folks could offer some insightful advice... Huh

i use Office 2010, which does not come with clipart...  Sad i think they kind of expect that anyone with Office 2010 is online all the time... well, ב"ה, i'm not! i do not have access to Office.com etc., so clipart is a real challenge. i shouldn't really say there's no clipart at all, more like there's only about 25 really "blah" pictures...

i am even willing to pay for a decent clipart collection... i actually bought "the big box of art", but it's extremely hard to use.

any suggestions??

thanks in advance!

hi, i know it's a bit very late to reply, but i'm doing so anyway b/c i figure maybe someone else will stumble upon this post and it may come in good use.
I saw another post on chinuch.org that Yavne high school in Cleveland is compiling a catalog of sorts of various different play scripts available, complete with a short synopsis and details such as who wrote it and how much it costs.
This is a really useful idea since i know in seminary we had an awfully difficult time getting a hold of an interesting, original script.
Anyone interested in submitting a script or ordering a copy of the catalog upon completion should contact Rochie Berkowitz at b2roach@aol.com
