Hi, I teach in high school, focusing on aged 14 - 16. I speak to parents constantly who are having issues with their teenaged children. I am looking for CD's / DVD's on parenting teenagers from the professional! Do you have any CD's on parenting teenagers ? R' Orlowick ? Brezak Yakov Horwitz etc...... Or can I download them from your website ? Or can you recommend an web site / people I can speak to about this ?! Thanks, Yisroel hassell Manchester

I would like to teach a UNIT based on the Book of Our Heritage (sefer hatodaah) and I was wondering if anyone has anything that was put together in the form of worksheets or a booklet to go along with it?
Thank you

I am looking at improving my schools Hebrew language curriculum. Does anyone have an effective curriculum for the primary grades? Is there a curriculum that continues to the older grades?
Thank you so much.

I am a day-camp head counselor for girls aged 5-11. The bullying in the 9-11 age groups has reached proportions I have never seen before, and I am at a loss on how to deal with everyone- the bullies, victims and bystanders. While it's not a long enough time period (we only have 4 more weeks) to start a long program, does anyone have any advice for a short-term program/project/ I can initiate?

Fluency standards depends by grade. 30 words per minute will be minimum for student finishing the reading grade but not for the next grades.
If you are interested in fluency standards, I've gathered data which can help you out with this, please contact me directly at info@kriahhelp.com

I'm wondering if there's any idea for the following situation:
I find many students who are actually not that bad with their reading skills, however they are reading very slow. Some of them you can even see while they are reading that their ability is much higher then their performance. It seems like they are not motivated to work and that they think it's something very difficult to do...
Has anyone experienced this with a student?... Has anyone managed to take the negative air out of this Kriah balloon?...
Thanks

When teaching about Lag Baomer, I tell the story of R' Akiva working for Kalba Savua, marrying Rachel, learning the Aleph Beis with the kindergarten kids, then going to learn for 24 years... The next day, I preplan that one of the older Rebbeim or male principal comes into the class. Before he enters, I tell the class there's going to be a new student today. The principal enters and sits down with a name tag "Akiva" and starts acting out Akiva! Sitting in a desk that is too small for him, trying the learn the Aleph Beis... This is an excellent way to bring the story of R' Akiva to life and is a memory that will remain with the students for many years to come.
