A yummy, edible way to teach and review the complicated battle strategy that Yehoshua used to conquer the city of Ai. Different treats are used as props and manipulatives to give the students a visual (and tasteful) way to understand the various tactics that were employed. The best part about this hands-on lesson is that the students can eat the treats at the end.

Marcia,This is a great hands-on idea. I like how you engage the students in the learning process. Do you have photos of the project? Our visiting teachers would enjoy being able to "see" the "edibles".
