Helping Children Stand On Their Own

This is an audio file of a lecture that was given at a past Torah Umesorah Convention by the master mechanech R' Avi Shulman. Rabbi Shulman discusses ways of giving a child the feelings of responsibility and the ability to accomplish on their own. He suggests three ways of giving this to them: 1)History of successes, 2)Child has the skills with which to meet the challenge, and 3)Motivation towards the meaningful goal.
