This series of 59 worksheets may be done by students whose only prior knowledge of Hebrew is to know how to read the alef-bet. Hebrew roots and affixes are explained and students are shown how to analyze short phrases from the Amidah for Rosh HaShanah, Yom Kippur and Yom Tov. Although the pages should be done in order, each page is self-contained, so individual worksheets may be done as opening exercises, fillers when another activity ends early, or as preparation for group activities described in the Teachers' Guide to The Open Scroll (G_00658a). Available as both editable DavkaWriter files, or in a non-editable pdf format. The first page of each file type contains directions and other useful information, while the following files are the actual worksheets.
