Five Little Latkes Song and Game

This is a fun interactive song and game, where children chant the familiar tune and pretend to eat up the hot, fresh latkes, holding up the number of fingers to show the remaining latkes. This pattern can be used for a simple oval “latke-shaped” book on a ring, or follow the longer instructions to make a soft, tactilely stimulating version, complete with its own latke plate! Even though this project requires lots of input from the teacher, the end product is a fun and educational Chanukah game that is well worth the effort and will become a favorite Chanukah activity.
