Chanukah-Purim Comparison SmartBoard Activity

This is a short activity in which students compare and contrast the story, halachos, and minhagim of Chanukah and Purim. Students drag holiday related items into 1 of 3 columns: “Chanukah”, “Purim”, or “Both". Some examples are “dreidel”, “Al Hanisim”, and “hamentaschen”. Help is offered by clicking on the “Solve” icon. After dragging the items in, students can check their answers by clicking on the “Check” icon. This is a great review or introduction to a unit on both Chanukah and Purim.
