This adorable song, set to the tune of “Yesh Tikvah”
as sung by Benny Friedman, reminds one to make a bracha before
and after eating and also lists several foods and their proper
brachos rishonos and acharonos. The catchy chorus will stick in
your mind long after you have sung it! Accompanying the lyrics
is an entertaining video clip of the contributor’s class
singing the song and acting it out. Teach this song to your
class as a brachos review, and use the video clip either to
present to your students, or as an idea that you can replicate
with your own students. There are two versions of the song sheet
– the first has the brachos written in Hebrew, and the
second has the Hebrew words transliterated. The video clip runs
for about four minutes. Please note: The MP4 file is heavy and
may take time to download! What to download: • Download the
print-ready PDF file (includes lesson plan and lyrics).
• Download the MP4 file to watch the actual video clip. |
