"Kever Rochel” is the second installment in the series
of videos entitled Touring-Toons. Each of these short videos
focuses on a unique aspect of Eretz Yisroel and its mekomos
hakedoshim. "Kever Rochel” takes its viewers on a
virtual tour of the burial place of Rochel Imeinu, accompanied by
private tour guide Rabbi Baruch, from the popular Tefilla-Toons
series (K_00964). Rabbi Baruch gives a detailed history of the
original structure of Kever Rochel, its renovation by Sir Moses
Montefiore, and the construction of the high walls. He also
explains why Yaakov Avinu chose to bury Rochel there, and brings
down the medrash about Yirmiyahu invoking Rochel's zechusim at
the time of the churban. The video provides beautiful, panoramic
views of the inside and outside of Kever Rochel. This video can
be showed on 11 Cheshvan, to commemorate Rochel Imeinu's
yahrtzeit, or when learning about Rochel Imeinu in Chumash or
Parsha. The video runs about 8½ minutes. Please note that
it is a heavy file and may take time to download. What to
