Every Student has a disability-it is up to them whether it becomes a handicap ornot. Based on personal experiences of being a handicapped student, and now a handicapped teacher and administrator, this presentation will present ways to recognize if a student is trouble, and the right and wrong things to say! Specifically, this presentation will teach you to pick up warning signs and signals od a struggling student and the methodology to integrate all types of students into your classroom. Most importantly, you will learn what not to say to students with handicaps or those who are going through crises. You will also be given the insight and the tools to inspire your students to appreciate they have and strive to be the best they can be.
