Using History as a paradigm, this workshop illustrates on a deeply conceptual level how goal-orientation can use every subject in Limudei Chol as a tool of hashkafa and competence. the workshop starts with an introduction to basic concepts of goal-orientation, including an explanation of "achievable accountability for both students and teachers" and "integrated communication skills." Then, participants experience and interactive, real-life History lesson, enabling each participant to percieve exactly how goal orientation changes who we are - and the way we think, prepare, teach, and test. Going beyond the "5-minutes-after-the-test-amnesia" of many students, goal-orientation shows us how to guide the average and weakest students to succeed and the brightest to excel-every period every day.
