Here is a brief summary of the questions discussed during  this session.

1) Are teachers permitted to quit in middle of the teaching year? How about right before the beginning of the school year? Is a teacher permitted to negotiate with one school while currently employed at another school? What should the policy be on hiring teachers who are already committed to another school?
2) Yiddish- What is the responsibility of a day school to inform a prospective mesivta or high school about their incoming talmidim?
3) Is a school which offers special services which strains their budget obligated to take in a child who needs special services from a school which does not provide these services in light of the fact that it may hinder the quality of education for the mainstream students and/or cause an influx of such students furthering the strain on the school’s budget? Is the community obligated to raise money to offer such services?
4) Is it the obligation of a menahel to know what the talmid does outside the school (i.e. at home, on Shabbos)?
5) Rav Perlow: How much mishnayos should be learned in the year of Haschalas Gemara?
6) Is it permissible to take children back to their classrooms to bentch after lunch thus defying the Halacha of bentching where you eat?
7) How much of davening (Bar Mitzvah age) may be skipped in order to placate parents who would do not care about tefilla and only send so their child can get a Jewish education?
8) What to do about Yesomim who come late to class?
9) Is it permissible to start a coed high school in an out-of-town community if the other option for the students is going to public school?
10) Is it permissible for girls to learn Gemara based on the reason from the prior question?
11) Rav Pam: Does the achrayos to educate weaker students extend to those who are learning disabled?
12) If yes, is the school mechuyav to have a special program with specially trained staff?
