2011 Presidents' Conference: Sheilos U'tshuvos---

Here is a brief summary of some of the questions addressed during the session:
1) Parents who do not pay tuition. How about the child of a Rebbe? Does the fact that they are established parents in the school make a difference? What if the other option is public school?
2) In Monsey, N.Y. a number of girls elementary schools recently closed. In total, about a dozen girls were not accepted to a different school. Is there a mechanism that could be put in place to help the girls and their families get into the school?
 3) Community Kollelim: How does a community school deal with the added stringencies that the Kollel families want put in place? How about a Kollel family deal with some of the lower standards that are in place in an out-of-town community.
4) Is rewarding teachers appropriate as it may cause jealousy, resentment, and demoralize amongst the other teachers?
 5) Are representatives of out-of-town communities who try to recruit families from major Jewish epicenters to move there doing those families a disservice?
6) Marketing Torah in Newspaper Ads Is it a proper derech to relegate the Torah to advertisements? Is there a difference between being Modia and flaunting?
