This workshop will introduce a program that is suitable for
grades 7th - 12th and can be used for children with learning
difficulties as well as for the gifted student. It can be adapted
and used as a continuing program for several grades, upgrading
each year, or as a system for one particular class with varied
levels of ability. The slower student works only with the Pesukim
in the Parsha, while the more advanced student will complete
working with the Pesukim in the Parsha and continue by working
through selected Mefarshim.
The students work
independently in class at their own pace and notice their
progress as they accomplish more work each week. They become
accustomed to using a Tanach, learn the skill of scanning a perek
that they have not learned before, review perakim that they are
familiar with, learn the content of the parsha and the loshon of
the Torah. They gain a tremendous feeling of accomplishment as
they feel comfortable learning perakim that they have not been
taught and once they are accustomed to it, all find it an
enjoyable experience!!!
This method is also suitable
for assigned preparation of perakim in Chumash and Navi before it
is to be taught in class. |
