Hi- The key word we use at our program is a FLEXIBLE daily schedule. For exmple, if the one year old is ready to go to sleep at 10 while the other kids are ready to play outside, let him fall asleep in the carriage and take the other ones outside. The little ones can play with puzzles with 3 big pieces while the older ones do something more complicated. The older kids can build a sand castle while the younger ones dump sand with a bucket. If you do things very hands on with manipulatives, toys, the younger ones can explore the toys as you talk about your lesson. You can find some very hands on ideas at the early childhood section of this website. What I have noticed also in my program is that the older children treat the young ones like a doll, playing and talking to them. Music is a great way to get them all together. Also, listen to the chinuch lectures of interest on this website, there are some really good ones. BHatzlochah!
