What computer software have you found helpful for children with special needs?  How was it helpful?

"Kidspiration" or "Inspiration" - easy to make diagrams, charts, outlines, bubbles and connecting lines, and then type in - with one click, easy to use, and fun for students to use - especially those who are good on the computer, which is almost all nowadays.
Good for pre-writing assignments - helps them organize their thoughts in a logical order or sequence - which you can give them specifics of what you want in each bubble. Comes with pre-made templates that are helpful as well. I found this software especially helpful for students who are bright in terms of ideas, imagination, creative thinking, and/or a lot of information and fantastic responses to your questions - that they can come up with, but have learning disabilities (that affect expression and written expression) and can use assistance with organization of their thoughts as a pre-writing strategy.
