Title: Lack of reading fluency
Post by: alampin on July 02, 2013, 06:02:39 PM
I'm wondering if there's any idea for the following situation:

I find many students who are actually not that bad with their reading skills, however they are reading very slow. Some of them you can even see while they are reading that their ability is much higher then their performance. It seems like they are not motivated to work and that they think it's something very difficult to do...

Has anyone experienced this with a student?... Has anyone managed to take the negative air out of this Kriah balloon?...

Thanks

Children, as adults, learn better if the lesson is taught in a fun and exciting manner.I find that games, such as matching games, contests between students and physical jumping games bring out the fun in reading and encourage children to read through playing.they sometimes dont even realize they are doing hard work because they are having fun.research games and activities for reading and you will see the difference right away!
