Title: Teaching Chumash
Post by: rabbi_nim on December 03, 2007, 07:54:03 AM
While I doubt that there is currently single program that will fit your needs, there might be a potential  solution utilizing combined software titles that your school may already have.

I would propose the following

1. Copy  the Hebrew text of the desired meforash (Using a library program like the Bar Ilan Library or Davka's Judaic Classics library)

2. Paste the text into your favorite Hebrew word processor (Dagesh, DavkaWriter, or Hebrew enabled Word)

3. Use a Nikud utility like TES's AutoNikud Plus to the versions you want B'Nikud.

You will still have to proof the result, but it is probably faster than manually adding nekudos in a word processor.

I hope this helps..

i am looking for a program that has meforshim  e.g. Ramban. Seforno. Ibn Ezra with the option of nikud so that various parts of the text can be printed with nikud and parts with out
