Title: Teach How To Make A Good Resume? Post by: Tzivs on December 03, 2007, 07:51:08 AM Bais Yaakov of Baltimore also has a life skills program.
As an employer hiring staff in the tri-state area, I have seen a difference among the girls who have attended a high school where they have been taught interviewing skills and those who are not as savvy with the questions that are appropriate to ask and how to give over information of themselves. It would be greatly beneficial to offer such a program to your students. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at tzivs@yahoo.com Title: Re: Teach How To Make A Good Resume? They bring in people from the community who specialize in these areas. I think that it is a great way to prepare the girls for life situations.

Teaching this kind of stuff in a classroom doesn't usually get the lesson across the same way that actually doing it. Tell the girls to give Mom a break and give them a budget and time frame which with to make Shabbos. That'll teach them time management, planning ahead, cooking, baking, cleaning up, budget planning, team work etc. etc. etc.
