Title: Feelings words
Post by: bweeta on July 12, 2011, 02:04:51 PM
I work in Early Childhood, and have a little boy whos mother speaks hebrew and father speaks english.  I\'d like to make a multi-lingual feelings chart including english, spanish, and hebrew versions of words like happy, sad, angry, etc. but I\'m having trouble finding phonetic spellings of these words online.  I\'ve also sent an email out to mom to help, but she works nights and takes a bit to get back to me on these things.  Is there a website or something out there that might include these words written out in the english alphabet as well as in Hebrew?

Wow, sounds like a great idea! The Walder Education Pavilion of Torah Umesorah is currently working on a multilingual feelings program. You can contact them at teacherscenter@waldereducation.org to see what they have available or perhaps they can recommend some great resources.
Hatzlacha!
