Title: smartboard vs. the wiimote interactive whiteboard Post by: shifandyis on May 12, 2009, 10:51:56 PM Has anyone set up the whiteboard that runs off the wii remote?
How does using it compare to a smartboard? Sure it has an easier to use functionality, but I was able to do just about anything with the Wii. If you use a projector in class and do not have a Smartboard, then I highly recommend looking into the Wiiremote Smoothnoard system as a do it yourself alternative to a SB. www.smoothboard.net to download the program and for info how to set it up.

Just by this, it is clear that Smoothboard is very affordable and it has now turn into a more user-friendly teaching tool by the innovation of annotation feature and autoconnect mode.
